Sleepless nights
I've watched you sleep a thousand times,
and listened to each and every breath,
watched the air as it filled your chest,
and pushed your body closer to mine.
I've laid awake just to watch you sleep,
in disbelief and pleasant awe,
there isn't but one single flaw,
I spy as you lay softly there.
I've welcomed the dark so that I may,
secretly gaze upon your face,
your beauty's glow the only light,
in a world so black and lacking hope.
And as I lay there watching you,
I struggle to find the words to say,
but as I tell you its you I love,
I ask myself, "Am I awake?"
Memories roll into histories and histories fade over time. "What ifs" are common mysteries, shrouding what might have been. The shroud can be lifted by knowledge, courage and love, but only when you find the light inside you to steer you from the dark. What if I didn't go to school today, but instead I stayed at home?Would I learn about my dad something I didn't know before? Or would I miss out on learning something about the world that would enrich my life further. What if I had paid more attention to my girl? Would I still have love or would I regret neglecting my studies in later years to come. What if I don't go to my job tomorrow but ins

The ringing stopped suddenly as a female voice greeted him and this time his heart stopped. Then it started again at twice the speed it should have. He'd tried the number several times but this was the first time he'd got an answer. He'd rehearsed in his head thousa
Today I went fishing with my father. We walked down to the Fjord from the house along the path to where the boat was tied up. I stood and watched as my father talked to his friends about his plans to catch a big fish. He was smoking a cigarette as he talked and I watched the smoke rise into the air as it did. I don't like him doing that. It makes him sick and it doesn't smell nice but he doesn't listen. At least in the boat he won't do it because I am there. So at least for a few hours I can control things. As I stood there waiting I watched the jellyfish from the safety of the mooring platform. The Fjord were full of them come summer, and th
A person born of noble heart,
of caring love and loving care,
should stand out right from the start,
and you will see them standing there.
And when you see them standing tall,
look to them for all they are,
be ready to catch them when they fall,
and now they're never very far.
For the one you love and give your soul,
the one who makes you soar and climb,
and shows you how to reach your goal,
will make you wish you could stop the time,
Make you wish the day would never end,
so that each little moment that you share,
could not only show you your best friend,
but love and trust and warmth and care.

Last piece of Eden
Over the oceans and seas lies an island we have never seen. Shrouded in the mists where the heat of the mediteranean meets the coolness of the atlantic you will find, if you look hard enough a little piece of jungle on a rock in the middle of nowhere. Satellites miss it, man has never found it and it remains untouched and unspoiled, as mother nature had intended it to stay.
The Islands inhabitants have never known life to be anything other than peaceful. Everyone has a mutual respect for each other and every resident knows their place in the hierarchy, right down to the youngest members of this jungle society. The island provides them all th

Harsh Awakenings
Yesterday I awoke with the birds. The sound of their song echoing around my room as I pulled myself from my bed. I crossed the room, carefully stepping over the clothes I'd untidily dumped on the floor and headed to the window. The birds were still singing their songs as I looked out through the trees and across the fjord to the hills. I stopped and watched and listened in awe as each little bird sang his heart out with the arrival of the new morning.
And as I stood there, taking in the sights and wondrous sounds a tear came to my eye. Not because of the beauty that was in front of me but for the beauty that wouldn't be in front of me in twe

Life And Love
If love is life
Then life is lost
What is lost
Can never be found
And never be reborn
I had love once
I held it dear
But that love is gone
And everything turned to fear
The people around you die
And your heart is broke in two
If you have no love
You have no life
So were dose that leave you?
